Whether you have kids who want to trick-or-treat or you’re a kid at heart who loves to scare yourself and others, there are plenty of things to do across the Emerald Coast to celebrate the spookiest holiday of all. Sweet Season Corn Maze

For the ninth year in a row, Sweet Season Farms has a fall festival that’s fun for the entire family. Get lost in the corn maze, go on a hayride, and enjoy the corn cannon. The corn maze is open Friday evenings and all weekend long through November 6. Admission starts at $9.00 per person. Kids two and under get in free. If you love to scare yourself or watch your friends freak out in terror, check out Nightmare on Old Spanish Trail in Baker. For those who need something a little tamer, don’t worry they offer non-terrifying options, too. Open on October 27, 28, and 31 and November 3 and 4. Defuniak Springs Haunted House

Experience your own fright night with Jason and his hockey mask at the Defuniak Springs Haunted House. You can design your own version of Jason’s mask and get the chills from all the terror the haunted house has to offer. Admission is $13 per person and proceeds benefit local nonprofits. Halloween Haunt at Destin Commons

Bring the kids and the dogs out for a night of safe and fun trick-or-treating on October 27. The costume contest for 0 to 12 years old begins at 6:00 p.m. Trick-or-treating runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Kids can enjoy face painting, crafts, and more. Admission is free! Learn more.
Halloween Crypt Crawl
Eglin Parkway, Fort Walton Beach
Need more adult fun this Halloween? Head on over to Eglin Parkway in Fort Walton Beach on October 28 for a creepy, spooky, and terrifying pub crawl. The fun begins at 7:00 p.m. at multiple local bars and clubs: Coasters, Fokker’s Pub, Salty Duck, The Green Door, Giovanni’s One 89, and The Block. End the night at The Block with a Halloween party and costume contest where you could win up to $1000 in prizes. Learn more.
Tricks or Treasure at the Boardwalk

Head over to the Boardwalk on Halloween night (Tuesday, October 31) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a free, fun, and safe trick-or-treating event for the entire family!
